About Us
The practice was founded in October 2017 and the directors have considerable experience acquired in senior positions at Cooper Partnership, SLR Consulting and Peter Brett Associates. VLP is a small, independent practice and all projects are undertaken by the directors with graphics support from skilled consultants. Our projects are delivered on time and on budget. We advise on the appropriate level of appraisal or assessment, including liaising with the relevant planning authority, to ensure that the work is proportionate to the issues of the site and the proposals.
Nigel Evers CMLI
Director
Nigel was a director at landscape consultancy Cooper Partnership, leaving to establish the landscape team at Peter Brett Associates in October 2013 as Director of Landscape. He has acted for public and private clients, covering landscape and visual effects of windfarms, major highways, developments from urban extensions to single dwellings, coal recovery and restoration and agricultural developments.
Nigel’s core skills as a landscape architect and wide experience in environmental issues enable him to understand the broad picture in environmental projects, giving him a successful track record in delivering robust schemes. As a result, he has been Environmental Coordinator on major infrastructure schemes. Nigel also has considerable experience as an expert witness.
Lindsey Evers CMLI
Director
Lindsey’s experience includes site feasibility studies, detailed design and contract administration for residential, commercial, industrial and highway schemes. She has carried out Environmental Statement coordination and has been responsible for large landscape management and interpretation projects.
Lindsey has prepared landscape and visual impact assessments for a variety of major developments, including development at power stations as well as residential, mixed use, commercial sites and highway schemes. Lindsey has also carried out a number of townscape assessments including some within sensitive locations such as World Heritage Sites.
