After eight years we have decided that it is time to retire and close Viridian Landscape Planning. When we founded the company in 2017, we could not have anticipated how successful it would be. It has exceeded our expectations, and during those eight years we have forged meaningful working relationships with clients and consultants, including our excellent graphics specialists. It has been a rewarding experience, and we are so glad we set up something that was ours to shape.

Viridian Landscape Planning has a successful track record in delivering robust schemes. We follow an integrated approach to landscape in the planning process, bringing our experience in working with all design team disciplines to achieve pragmatic solutions.
The practice is founded on the considerable experience of the directors, which has included landscape and visual appraisal and assessment, feasibility studies, landscape design and expert witness at public inquiries and hearings.
Projects cover a broad range of sectors including residential, energy, minerals, further education and health. Some of the work we undertake is set out below.
LVA/LVIA
The focus of our work is the preparation of Landscape (or Townscape) and Visual Appraisals (LVA) and Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA), to help realise the potential of land.
Feasibility Studies
We can carry out an initial study to assess the feasibility of one or more sites in landscape and visual terms.
Other Services
We provide Zone of Theoretical Visibility (ZTV) assessments, landscape design services, landscape management plans and can represent both public and commercial clients at public inquiries and hearings.
